Teacher Promise Stipend
is the Executive Director for Dayton-Montgomery County Preschool Promise. Robyn serves on the Governor's Early Childhood Advisory Council and is Vice-Chair of groundWork, Ohio's early childhood advocacy organization. She has led complex projects in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, including at IBM, Chicago's Willow Creek Community Church and Evenflo. She has a business degree from Wake Forest University.
is the Director of Operations of Preschool Promise. She leads the operations team to ensure Preschool Promise runs smoothly. This includes processing applications, managing Star Attendance, contract management and building and maintaining Preschool provider relationships.
Previously, Ashley was the Director of the University of Dayton’s Demonstration School, the Bombeck Family Learning Center. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she studied early childhood education and received her master’s in educational leadership.
is the Director of Marketing for Preschool Promise. She leads the media strategy and community education initiatives. Currently, Charmaine serves on the YWCA Advocacy Board and is an alumna of the Women's Leadership Collaborative of Greater Dayton, and Dayton's Neighborhood Leadership Institute. Charmaine has been a youth pastor, camp counselor and research assistant. A native of Cincinnati, she received her bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and a Master’s of Divinity from Emory University.
is the Director of Quality for Preschool Promise. She is helping Montgomery County Preschools implement effective curriculum and leading the work to promote strong relationships between teachers and young learners. She has been a classroom teacher, reading specialist, mentor and professional development facilitator. A graduate of The Ohio State University, where she studied early childhood education, Latoria received her Master's in Education from Antioch University McGregor.
is the Data and Payment Specialist for Preschool Promise. She has been working with Preschool Promise since the Kettering Pilot in 2014-2015. She ensures all families’ requests for tuition assistance are processed and maintains our database.Tiffany graduated magna cum laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting.Tiffany says, "My work at Preschool Promise gives me great pride. My No. 1 goal is helping families with their financial assistance needs to ensure a high quality Preschool experience for their child."
is the Family Services Specialist for Preschool Promise. She processes applications and connects families with resources they need to make informed decisions about the education of their children. For more than 20 years, Chanell has worked with children with special needs, home-bound students, military families, single parents and victims of domestic violence. She has partnered with Elizabeth New Life Women’s Center, Wright State University and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Chanell received a bachelor’s degree from Regent University in religious studies and a master’s degree from Wright State University in educational leadership
is the Administrative Assistant for the Preschool Promise team. With more than 20 years of experience in education, for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations, Barbara streamlines our processes and keeps Preschool Promise running efficiently. A great problem-solver, Barbara grew up in Dayton and is excited to help more families in our region find and afford quality Preschool.
, CPA is the Director of Finance for Preschool Promise. She is responsible for all the accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, invoicing and payables. She has years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting and for the last 15 years has been teaching financial and managerial accounting at the University of Dayton. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
is the Outreach Assistant for Preschool Promise. She leads all outreach efforts, coordinates events, and connects families to Preschool Promise. Hertia has over twenty years of experience in the early childhood education field, including teaching in Head Start classrooms, private preschools, and mentoring students at the Sinclair Early Childhood Education Center.
Hertia has a passion for the Dayton community, working with families, and volunteering at local charities. She is a graduate of Sinclair Community College where she studied Early Childhood Education.
