Meet, James Cosby, our Career Advisor & Special Projects Manager.
He will be helping early educators create an individualized career path to improve their skills and earn credentials and degrees. He has a master’s degree in counselor education and a bachelor’s degree in communications, most recently was a senior financial aid officer and enrollment specialist at Central State University. He has also worked at the Modern College of Design in Kettering, University of Dayton and Xavier University.
The Preschool Promise Scholarship Program helps early child care educators earn credentials and degrees without taking on debt. We can provide financial aid to cover tuition and even assist with out-of-pocket expenses that could prevent you from continuing your education.
In addition, we've created a Student Success Network to support you in other ways. The network is a cohort of teachers who meet regularly with Preschool Promise's Career Advisor, who can help you apply to college, schedule classes, get help with technology issues and more. The Student Success Network brings together teachers returning to school so they can support each other as they continue — and complete — their education journey.
