Parent Ambassador

Parent Ambassadors

Parent Ambassadors are a group of parent and family leaders who work together to create a strong and supportive community for Montgomery County’s youngest learners and their families. They accomplish this through leadership, education, empowerment, advocacy, and partnership.

Parent Ambassadors commit to the following:

  • Planning events and opportunities for families of young children
  • Attending monthly meetings 
  • Volunteering at events 
  • Completing program evaluations

Important Details

To participate:
  • You must be a parent, guardian or kinship caregiver of a child age 6 or under.
  • You must be a Montgomery County, Ohio resident.
  • Parent Ambassadors must currently have, or have had a child enrolled in Preschool Promise.

Stipend:

  • Earn up to $550 annually. Program participants can receive the stipend for up to three years.

Meeting Details:

  • Last Tuesday of every month - January 2021 to November 2021
  • Time: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Zoom

Spots are limited. Successful applicants will be notified in mid January, 2021.  The first meeting will be held on January 26, 2021.
