Workforce Pathway

Workforce Thought Partners Committee

Preschool Promise is developing a new committee to elicit input from early childhood professionals, on creating a workforce pathway.  The committee is called, “The Preschool Promise Workforce Thought Partners Committee.”

Dr. Debra Brathwaite, our new workforce fellow, provided by The Dayton Foundation, is leading this initiative.

We are looking for volunteers to serve on one of two committees.  One committee is for child care directors and the other for early childhood teachers and paraprofessionals who do not currently hold an early childhood certification or degree. Each committee will meet once a month for 7 months virtually, to discuss how Preschool Promise can provide support and create a pathway for early childhood professionals to obtain certifications and degrees.
