X-Treme Training Series: Fridays: November 6, 13 and 20, 2020
This X-Treme training series will explore innovative approaches that can be used to close the achievement gap. Brain research, action plans, and self-reflection are key components to this introduction to culturally responsive teaching.  We will look into Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain by Zaretta Hammond. We will learn about how our culture programs the brain to process data and affects learning relationships.

Ohio Approved: 6 Hours
Stipend: $150.00 = $50 per session attended - Attendance stipend will be paid at the conclusion of the series for attended classes (max amount is $150.00)
Cost:  Preschool Promise Sites—Preschool Classroom Teachers and Administrators - Free
Preschool Promise Sites—Other Teachers (Pay for this with Quality Dollars)  - $150.00
Participation Guidelines:
  1. Participants in a PLC may only participate in 1 X-Treme training during the 2020-21 school year.
  2. Registration does not guarantee placement.
