Book of the Month
During the school year (September through May), families enrolled in a Preschool Promise provider preschool classroom will receive a book-of-the-month sent home directly from your child's teacher!
Research shows that reading books aloud with young children is one of the best ways to build vocabulary, comprehension and pre-literacy skills. Preschool Promise encourages families to read every day with their child.

1. What are some ways people in the book welcome each other? Which one is your favorite?
2. How do you feel when someone makes you feel welcome?
3. What could you do to make a new friend feel welcome at school or on the playground?
