To participate in Preschool Promise:
  • You must reside in Montgomery County.
  • Your child must be age eligible.  
    • Eligible children include children who turn 4 by September 30, 2023, or by the Kindergarten cut-off date of your home school district or children who turn 3 by September 30, 2023 and are residents of DPS/City of Dayton.
  • You must enroll your child in a participating Preschool Promise program.

Have these required documents ready when you begin the application. Your application is not complete until you provide the following:
  • Proof of child's birth date.
    • (birth certificate, passport, visa, or signed shot record with DOB)
  • Proof of residency.
    • (lease agreement, mortgage statement, utility bill or cell phone bill)
  • Proof of income.
    • (2022 tax return or three current and consecutive pay stubs for each working guardian in the home)
