Black Girl Genius

Data show that early childhood is crucial for setting the foundation for future learning and development.  Implicit bias, low expectations,  and female Black teachers who may carry the scars of their own marginalization have an impact on the next generation of Black girls. Addressing these systemic issues will ensure Black girls grow up to be empowered educators,

breaking the cycle of harm.
