The Dayton Art Institute has ranked among the top 10 art museums in the country for children—and it truly showed during the Passport to Kindergarten Preschool Art Show!
On January 17, more than 100 families from participating classrooms gathered at the museum to celebrate their preschoolers’ creativity. Families met their child’s teacher and admired colorful masterpieces created with materials and lesson plans from the museum’s education team, inspired by the book Mixed. Each family received an activity book including a gallery map highlighting museum artworks that use similar techniques, plus ideas for creative activities to try at home.

This joyful art show marked the second event of the Passport year and was made possible thanks to the generous support of the PNC Foundation through its Grow Up Great® initiative.
