The Ready to Read program allows Preschool Promise to partner with Omega CDC’s Promise Neighborhood Project in Northwest Dayton, in an area known as The Hope Zone. This initiative supports more than 20 teachers through a monthly training cohort that focuses on early literacy and the Science of Reading.

We have a big goal to increase the number and percentage of children attending preschool to 90% or more. National research shows that children must attend at least 90% of scheduled program hours at school to ensure they benefit from the teaching and learning that takes place in the classroom.
