Learning Through Play
Preschool Promise is creating fun and educational activities that encourage learning outside of the classroom and promote connection between children and families. We’d like to invite you to help us by being one of our Partners in Play!
What does being a Partner in Play entail? Previous partners, which have included Muse Machine, Dayton Children’s and the K-12 Gallery & Tejas, have created videos, collaborated with our families and their children to make public art, and offered online demonstrations—in addition to providing financial or in-kind support for our work. We are looking for partners to help sponsor our play kits, which are sent out to nearly 2000 families three times a year. The goal of these kits is to bring playful learning into the home of preschool children, building readiness skills with their grown-ups at home while sharing information about our incredible community partners.
Along with our team, your organization will work to provide families with the tools and tips they need to build readiness skills at home, including: Counting and Measuring, Talking and Reading, Connecting and FeelingPlaying and Problem Solving, and Growing and Developing. Join us in helping ensure every child in Montgomery County is ready for Kindergarten by providing the funding for play kits, putting your organization on the road map to school readiness.
