My name is Cindy Pham, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Dayton studying Early Childhood Education. I have joined Education Impact Partners to grow as a future educator and gain different perspectives that will help deepen my understanding and empathy for those in my community. This year, I am placed at Preschool Promise. I will work to support its mission to ensure that “every child has equitable, high-quality, and affordable early learning and health and wellness opportunities.”
Through my work with Preschool Promise, I hope to build meaningful relationships within the community while also developing the skills needed to effectively serve children and families. I am passionate about creating enriching learning experiences and fostering strong, lasting connections. With this in mind, if I could have one superpower to make community work easier, it would be the ability to instantly understand everyone around me. This would allow me to better connect with children and families from all backgrounds, ensuring that every single voice is heard and valued.
