Our Favorite Buckeye

Kayleigh Boyed is a senior at The Ohio State University at Lima, where she is majoring in Child and Youth Studies with a Specialization in Creative Pedagogies in Education.

During her internship at Preschool Promise, Kayleigh has experienced a variety of opportunities to learn and grow through new experiences each day. She especially enjoyed learning about Conscious Discipline and shadowing a Conscious Discipline coach during classroom visits. These new experiences have strengthened her interest in Conscious Discipline and the positive impact social-emotional learning can have on young children.

Moving forward,she hopes to continue developing knowledge and skills in Conscious Discipline and would like to pursue a future career with it. 

We were especially grateful for all of Kayleigh's help in preparing for the Readiness Summit, including pre-sorting reports and programs for 625 place settings!
