What does it mean to be one of our providers?

To be a Preschool Promise partner provider a  site must be located within one of our eight partner districts. These districts are: Dayton Public, Huber Heights, Jefferson Township, Kettering, Mad River, Northridge, Trotwood, and West Carrollton. The site must serve preschool children and hold at least a silver-medal Step Up to Quality rating. Sites include public schools, charter schools, family child care, parochial preschools, and community-based programs. Programs that join Preschool Promise as a provider receive training, coaching, and free professional development—as well as access to funding to improve the quality of their program or to possibly expand Preschool classrooms. Families at participating Providers can receive Tuition Assistance, Books-of-the-Month, Play Kits and other free resources to help them prepare their children for Kindergarten. (See full benefits below.)

In the current 2025-2026 school year we have 125 Partner Providers.
