This X-TREME training features a series of 3 sessions. Story Time sounds easy enough: Stop and ask questions while you’re reading aloud. But there’s more to this essential strategy. Join us for a focused examination of the research on how to support language development when sharing books.
Participants will learn how to implement dialogic reading, try it in their classrooms and return to the study group to discuss their successes and challenges. Which books work the best? How do you individualize learning experiences? The strategies you’ll practice can be used in all areas of the classroom.
Who should attend: Classroom Teachers & Administrators (50 Maximum Participants per session)

Dates: 3 Session Workshop: Mondays, October 21, October 28 and November 11, 2019

Stipend: $150.00 = $50 per session attended (Attendance stipend will be paid at the conclusion of the series for attended classes (max amount is $150.00)
